Ed Krug
Vice President and Principal, Aquent Consulting

Ed KrugEd Krug is the vice president and a principal with Aquent Consulting. He is focused on leveraging Aquent’s experience in the marketing and creative services staffing domain. During his tenure with Aquent, he has managed the development of Aquent’s methodology for benchmarking an enterprise’s creative requirements, as well as the tools for developing the optimal talent, work process, and technology model to deliver on those unique requirements. 

He has led engagements applying this methodology at organizations representing well-known brands in a range of industries from financial services to pharmaceuticals and healthcare, including MetLife, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Carolina. The result has been streamlined operations, increased flexibility, and top- line growth for each of these operations.

Ed is featured in a video on measuring success in creative execution entitled “Internal Benchmarking: Quantify, Justify, and Grow,” currently running on Aquent’s Web site. He is frequently asked to speak at a variety of industry venues on topics relating to creative execution.

Prior to joining Aquent, Ed spent more than twenty years working with clients to optimize operations in disciplines from back-office functions to print fulfillment to creative services, designing integrated service delivery models, and providing tactical implementation support. His career has included senior analytical and business development positions on both coasts, in London and India, and with Pitney Bowes, OfficeTiger, Spherion, and Xerox. 

A graduate of the University of Virginia, Ed’s focus on design and technology began with a bachelor’s degree in architecture.
