RitaSue Siegel
President, RitaSue Siegel Resources, an Aquent Company

RitaSue SiegelRitaSue Siegel is founder and president of RitaSue Siegel Resources (www.RitaSue.com), where she leads a team of seasoned search consultants who source senior product, communications, and environmental design management professionals worldwide for companies that consider design a core competency or that want to develop one. In 2001, RitaSue Siegel Resources was acquired by Aquent.

With over twenty-five years' experience, RitaSue has worked with international companies including Nissan, Rockwell Group, Apple, Microsoft, BenQ, Philips, JCI, Hewlett-Packard, Design Continuum, Motorola, Palm, Samsung, LVMH, Whirlpool, Renault, Smart Design, Landor, Adam Tihany, Wolf Olins, The Design Institute of the University of Minnesota, Interbrand, and Design Council. The company has had a global recruiting engagement with Procter & Gamble since April 2004.

She is a regular contributor to Communication Arts magazine and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, IDSA’s Innovation, DesignWeek (UK), I.D. magazine, BusinessWeek, Fast Company, VMSD, the New York Times, CNN, New Design (UK), and other leading media. She speaks frequently at design conferences (IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America), AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts), WORLDESIGN, the Design Management Institute, where she is a former board member), and at design colleges worldwide.

She is the author of Getting an Industrial Design Job and wrote American Graphic Designers: Thirty Years of Imagery, published by McGraw-Hill. RitaSue has been on the board of The Architectural League of New York and served as an IDEA and I.D. magazine competition juror. RitaSue was also among thirty global creative leaders chosen to participate in INDEX2005, Copenhagen.

RitaSue has undergraduate and graduate degrees in industrial design from Pratt Institute. She is a board member of the Rowena Reed Kostellow Fund at Pratt and is on the advisory board of its Interior Design Department.
