If you were asked to define the term perfect match in the recruitment world, you would more than likely think along the lines of “totally proficient”, “faultless” or “excellence” in terms of skills and competencies.
It’s no different when a successful recruitment consultancy is looking to grow its own team.
When Aquent – leaders in creative, marketing, advertising, media, PR and marcomm (office) support recruitment – acquired Pacific Rim Personnel in January this year, finding a perfect match was key. Their focus on customer service, enthusiasm and commitment to long term business partnerships meant the Pacific Rim business was a perfect match in terms of completing the total Aquent service offering.
Pacific Rim Personnel’s Managing Director, Michie Bell-Booth (with over eight years in both the human resources and recruitment industries) joined Aquent as part of the acquisition. Since Michie came on board, her business unit has grown substantially, creating the need for a new Agent (the Aquent term for “Consultant”) to join her on the marcomm (office) support desk.
This led to the most recent perfect match at Aquent – the appointment of Claire James.
Claire has over five years commercial recruitment experience both here and in the UK . She brings to Aquent an experienced understanding of office support recruitment and the ability to offer a recruitment solution and ongoing customer care to a wide range of corporate clients. Claire has previously specialised in recruiting office support Talent (the Aquent term for “Candidates”) from Office Juniors up to Executive Assistants and Office Managers.
Michie and Claire will work closely together to develop further the business engendering Talent care and a consultative approach to their recruitment strategy in order to promote the Aquent philosophy that there is more to recruitment than just placing Talent. Making a perfect match is what ultimately counts.
