Hire Performers, the recruitment company specialising in the creative, advertising, marketing and communications sectors, has gone global.

The company has been acquired by global giant Aquent, the largest firm in Australia specialising in advertising, creative, marketing and communications recruitment. Hire Performers owner and managing director Karen Thompson said the deal was the merging of two very like-minded organizations and brings to Perth access to the Aquent Australia-wide network with offices in Adelaide , Brisbane , Melbourne , Sydney and now Perth .

Thomson said the local company will be adding staff, meaning more specialised and experienced recruitment consultants who carry extensive knowledge and contacts into the specialist skill sets that make up the creative, marketing and communications industry.

The move also allows Aquent to broaden its range of talent on offer to clients looking at mainstream and niche communications skills on a full time, part time or freelance basis. Apart from being specialists in the creative and the advertising sector, Aquent specialises in marketing, PR, media and business support.

As well as the Perth talent pool, Thomson’s company now has access to the largest talent pool in Australia and globally via Aquent’s network, proprietary database and knowledge infrastructure.
