Third market in Japan for staffing provider of creative and IT professionals

Sydney, Australia (February 4, 2002) - Aquent, the world's largest talent agency for creative, Web and tech professionals, has added Nagoya, Japan to its Asia-Pacific region, announced Greg Savage, Aquent CEO for Asia-Pacific. The addition comes in response to increased market demand in the area. Other Asia-Pacific markets include Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Bombay, India.

"Since opening our first Japan office in Tokyo in 1997 our business in that country has grown exponentially over the last five years," commented Savage. "With the continued growth of the Web and technology in the area, Nagoya presented us with some good business opportunities so it made sense to continue our expansion there."

Savage is working with Morihito Ito, area manager for Nagoya, on building business in that market. Aquent also recently added an office in Bombay, India as a result of the company's acquisition of Renaissance Worldwide, a leading provider of business-focused Information Technology solutions. Aquent's acquisition of Renaissance officially closed on December 11, 2001.
