     AQUENT PARTNERS WITH THE AMERICAN MARKETING ASSOCIATION TO FIELD A SALARY SURVEY OF MARKETING PROFESSIONALS

The survey seeks to be the most comprehensive free survey of the marketing arena ever compiled.

Boston, Mass. (July 12, 2004) — Aquent, a firm that specializes in solutions for marketing and creative services organizations, is partnering with the American Marketing Association (AMA) to develop a definitive salary survey of the marketing arena. The AMA is comprised of nearly 40,000 marketing professionals worldwide, who turn to the association for information, news, and industry insight. The survey, being fielded now, will be available free of charge in the fall, as an interactive online database.

“We learned through the talent we represent that marketing salary surveys tend to be very expensive and overly complex,” says Jenny Norwood, Aquent’s marketing director. “We provide a free survey for creative professionals that is widely valued by both hiring managers and designers alike.” Nancy Costopulos, AMA’s marketing director, states, “The AMA is pleased to partner with Aquent on this initiative. This study will be a vital resource for marketing professionals.”

In order to gather sufficient data to provide statistically reliable results for all users, Aquent and the AMA are aggressively soliciting responses from marketing professionals by way of an online survey site, www.aquentamasalarysurvey2004.com. The survey site will be open to respondents until August 6, 2004.
