Second acquisition in one week completes Aquent Australia network

Perth, Australia (September 12, 2005) — Aquent, a global firm specialising in staffing solutions for the creative, marketing and communications industries, today announced its acquisition of Perth-based recruitment firm, Hire Performers. The acquisition follows last week’s announcement of Aquent’s acquisition of Melbourne-based recruitment firm, Dux Creative Consultants.

“During the past three years, Aquent has embarked on a carefully mapped out expansion and growth strategy. The acquisition of Hire Performers in Perth is a logical step in this direction,” announced Greg Savage, CEO of Aquent Asia Pacific. “We now have five offices in Australia and can provide an unmatched delivery model to clients and candidates.”

With the acquisition of Hire Performers Aquent national staff reaches 140 people. Hire Performers’ previous owner, Karen Thomson, will continue to manage and build Aquent’s office in Perth and her team will continue to foster their existing relationships with candidates and clients.
