Singapore (September 25, 2006) – Aquent, a global firm specialising in staffing solutions for the marketing, communications and creative industries announces four new staff hires to further strengthen the non-agency side of their recruitment business.

In addition to the staff additions, Aquent Singapore will launch a new business unit called Aquent Business Support to offer their clients quality support staff from receptionists, personal assistants, admin coordinators, marketing coordinators, account coordinators, administrative assistants and office managers who are specialised within the marketing, communication and creative space.

To drive this new business stream, Aquent has recently hired Chika Tan as Agent, Business Support. Tan has four years recruitment experience and a strong understanding of this portfolio.

Also joining Aquent is Vereen Foo who will be an Agent responsible for the FMCG arena. Foo most recently was a Marketing Manager at Warner Bros for the past six years.

On the PR front, Charles Sng will join the team as Agent, Public Relations and will focus on corporate communications, advertising and public relations. Sng has 15 years experience in PR and marketing communications was most recently VP, Corporate Communications with the Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX).

Aquent has also hired Rachel Lim as their Agentto focus on the media and broadcast portfolio. Her last role was Senior Account Manager with Mediacorp TV12.
