Every year the James Dyson Award is given out to the Designer who best solves a current problem by coming up with a unique industrial design.
This year’s 15 finalist will be announced on September 1st, with James Dyson (yes, the vacuum cleaner inventor) picking the winner later that month.
I don’t know about you, but I get a huge kick out of seeing photos of the shortlisted designs. And, unlike my last visit to a museum, I don’t say, “I can do that!” for every new piece I see.
