Description of Project:
An Aquent team comprising a webmaster and two graphic designers had been working with the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) as subcontractors to another contractor when Serco, a leading provider of professional, technology, and management services focused on the federal government, won the contract with USPS.
The Aquent team was intimately familiar with the client's needs and expectations, and Serco immediately identified them as crucial to its team's efforts. The Aquent team brought with them institutional knowledge of USPS, which Serco required to successfully meet customer requirements. Serco hired them on a new subcontract.
The Aquent team worked with Serco and the client to create and produce print collateral materials such as corporate publications, brochures, posters, displays, package designs, and advertisements for high-volume national distribution. In addition they created illustrations for print, motion graphics, web pages, and video.
The team also worked on internal newsletters for USPS, and in electronic media, including USPS's intranet sites Blue.usps.gov and LiteBlue.usps.gov, and www.usps.com, as well as the USPS site for retired employees, keepingposted.org.
A somewhat pared down team continues to work with Serco to fulfill the needs of the USPS today.
