Description of Project:

In 2001, the South Florida Water Management District came to Aquent for assistance on its "South Florida Environmental Report," its consolidated, annual report, which showcases dozens of agency reports in a three-volume publication, complemented by the Consolidated Project Report Database.

Since that time, Aquent has provided a team of editorial personnel to support this mission critical undertaking. The team consists of a writer, a graphic designer, and an editor. These key personnel provide technical writing, editing, and production-related assistance for the South Florida Environmental Report (the main report and the executive summary) during the draft and final phases of production. The team also provides technical writing and editing for other miscellaneous reports from the South Florida Water Management District, when necessary. The district requires these resources only during two quarters annually.

Due to the flexibility of Aquent's business model, the South Florida Water Management District is able to acquire the needed talent to complete the project each year without taking on the unnecessary expense of additional full-time employees.
