Description of Project:
The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum (HMM) wanted to develop interactive kiosks throughout the museum and exhibits that enabled guests to interact with the museum to enrich their visits. In addition, they wanted to link the kiosks to the web in order that guests could expand their experience before and after their visits to the museum.
Aquent provided a team of interactive designers and developers, content developers and other web professionals. Aquent first designed the interactive kiosks that would enable guests to interact with the HMM while visiting. Secondly, Aquent transitioned this team to build portions of the museum's web site to ensure a consistent experience for visitors and prospective visitors.
Using the same team for both tasks provided continuity and quality between the kiosks and web site. Both the kiosks and web site are in use by the USHMM.
