200016231 - Senior Interaction Designer - Serious Games

You will work with the Creative Directors to concept and design models for interactive games for diverse corporate, NGO and academic organisations.

You will liaise directly with clients to determine their objectives and create structural models for serious games for educational and training objectives, interactive digital experiences and intelligent environments.

You will define the functionality, navigation, interaction and information architecture based on organisational objectives and the needs of the target group.

As an experienced designer you will be encouraged to work unsupervised and on a level with creative leads, project managers and client marketing directors.

Our client is the leading interactive agency in The Netherlands with a track record of developing truly innovative serious game experiences.

With strong relationships with research facilities, academic institutions and corporate organisations, the team are now seeking to grow further with the appointment of a lead interaction designer.

Candidates must demonstrate the following:

At least 4 years' experience of designing interactive experiences and serious games,
Proven ability to think and develop abstract concepts,
A highly creative mind,
Applied knowledge of ABCDE research model,
Excellent communication skills and ability to relay concepts in a meaningful and tailored way, based on the needs of the client and target group,

My client is open to considering candidates from outside The Netherlands on the basis that they are interested in learning Dutch in the longer term.
