200016444 - Packaging Designer

Our client is in need of a designer that has experience in developing packaging; working with dielines, understanding various printing processes, developing design files that are ready to go to the separator for final print production.

Must be highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator, have some working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and be able to work in Microsoft office programs, especially PowerPoint, to develop designs for presentations.

It is essential that the designer is able to follow a design system and stick within the defined brand guidelines. The designer must have good attention to detail and be able to work largely independently, while also being very comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification when needed.

Some specific areas we would need the designer to work would be:

Adapt existing packaging design system to new offerings/options

Applying existing corrugate designs to new/different corrugate sizes

Applying designs from the US to international markets

Adapt designs to new dielines/sizes

Simple 2D Renderings of proposed new pack sizes/offerings

Develop PowerPoint presentations using provided graphics and templates

Experience or knowledge of developing point-of-sale materials would be a bonus, but not essential.
