-Must be familiar with the AP style of writing.
-Journalistic writing background is ideal; someone who has written about healthcare issues for the general public.
-Can interview doctors/healthcare professionals about complex technical topics (pacemakers, for example) but be able to translate the medical speak into layman's terms.
-Looking for someone with a little bit of flair and creativity; not your typical corporate writer.
-Able to write press releases and other generic informational writing.
