Review mechanicals incoming from international agencies for accuracy as it relates to technical and creative specifications. Make comments on mechanicals accordingly, and determine whether to route incoming mechanicals for approval to Art Director and Advertising group, or to request immediate changes based on incorrect specifications being provided on the mechanical.
Responsibilities
Daily approval routing and tracking of advertising PDF (international publication mechanicals) submissions from our international agency partners for Japan/Asia/Europe/Emerging Markets/China regions as well as for Trade Partner co-op advertising.
Responsible for annotating creative department's comments on the PDFs using Acrobat and uploading PDFs back to agencies via sftp sites for agency partners.
Routing for Marketing Department and Legal approval, all master magazine mechanicals for each seasonal campaign including Spring, Fall, Holiday; working with Creative team for the cropping guidelines as they pertain to each new image so agencies understand where they can trim or expand artwork to fit a particular size publication.
Working with Production team to ensure that final retouched artwork is provided to each agency along with the final approved master mechanicals.
Transferring all final approved PDFs Marketing Department MacServer so that Digital Asset Director can upload all files to Cumulus database for archiving.

Required Qualifications
2-3 years of Advertising Agency/Traffic or Project Management, or related experience, in integrated environment
Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate leadership abilities
Experience with MAC and PC
Working Knowledge of Quark, InDesign, Photoshop
Working knowledge of Quark and Acrobat
Preferred:
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
Knowledge of Quark
Knowledge of Filemaker Databse program helpful
