200016592 - Sr. UX Designer

Aquent is seeking Sr. UX Designers to join our client's team of super creative and cutting edge web professionals!

Duties:
• Deliver production-ready UX visual designs in alignment with overarching business and UX goals
• Rapidly drive progress of existing work (experience designs, UX guides, information architecture, visual designs) to project completion
• Collaborate with UX team in ideation and concept explorations throughout projects lifecycles facilitating and driving UX solutions, discussions and planning while maintaining project oversight, until project completion
• Articulate and track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies and risks as well as communicate progress, issues and accomplishments to UX team
• Track and project time for assigned tasks such as concept sketches, rough wire frames or flows, visual design comps, rapid prototyping/demos, presentations, logos, icons, mood boards and assist in the creation of associated mitigation plans, while following prescribed process and best practices
• Serve as liaison between UX team members, identifying and participating in UX specific project visual designs; communicate regularly with Engineering and Product teams
• Serve as a mentor and coach and contribute to the growing library of knowledge around User-Centered Design, through the products developed and best practice research

• Degree in design, computer science, human factors or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years experience designing internet, mobile or equivalent interactive experiences
• Proven experience as design leader with ability to direct others through creative process
• Understanding of interaction design principles
• Demonstrable fluency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, or other design tools
• Excellent collaborative skills with critical thinking and creative problem solving abilities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
• Relevant agency experience a plus
• Strong portfolio of solid web, mobile and multi-media required
