Immediate need for Junior UX Designer for a long term need!
The User Experience Designer will report to the Creative and Usability Manager and should be able to creatively envision, evaluate, and design successful user experiences within existing technical restraints that fulfill business objectives.


As an advocate for the end user, responsibilities will include making informed recommendations on design strategies by leveraging best practices, user feedback and usability test results to develop intelligent and successful design solutions.


S/he will be responsible for documenting detailed visual specifications for all UI design and presentation layer elements utilizing existing site CSS and style guidelines and UI/UX standards, ensuring all UI meets these specifications through development, test and QA phases.


This position requires understanding of large scale web and mobile initiatives, user-centered design, usability, information design, interaction design, and goal-oriented design. S/he should be familiar with the capabilities of Mobile, HTML 5.0, DHTML, CSS, Flash and AJAX-based applications, have excellent communication skills – in person, written and presentation, the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks across multiple projects, under tight deadlines. the ability to create clean, precise and detailed IA documentations and be proficient in industry standard UI software such as Visio, Illustrator, Photoshop and Axure. And have experience with 508 Web Accessibility Standards.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create intuitive design solutions for digital / interactive and mobile user experiences. Understand and apply user centered design best practices and techniques
  • Envision, evaluate, and design successful user experiences within existing technical restraints that fulfill business objectives. Understands and apply user centered design best practices and techniques.
  • Successfully articulate and present ideas and solutions to business owners, developers and designers
  • Document detailed visual specifications and presentation layer elements utilizing existing site CSS and style guidelines and standards. Provide all final images and documentation for development
  • Support projects from inception through development, QA and launch.

    Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience
  • Excellent communication skills in person, written and presentation.
