Usability Researcher needed for large telecommunications client in Atlanta. The candidate must be available for a 3-6 month contract onsite; due to start end of January.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates user interactions and conducts usability studies.
- Presents findings and recommendations that drive user experience design decisions and improvements.
- Delivers high quality customer feedback and insights within agile, iterative and waterfall project processes.
- Coordinates, facilitates and analyzes research studies within a user centered process, including but not limited to:
o Upfront research to uncover market problem, user needs and behaviors.
o Iterative usability tests to uncover design issues and areas of improvement.
o Benchmark studies to assess ease of use and success metrics.
- Provides input and oversight to recruiting screeners and coordinates with research recruiting firms to ensure appropriate user profiles are represented.
- Clearly and effectively communicates user feedback, insights and mental models verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Some travel may be required.
