Our client is looking for a Medical Copyeditor for a temp to perm position in our Hamilton, NJ headquarters.
Responsibilities include:
- Editing medical and general consumer web and print content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and adherence to client and house style; identifying inconsistencies, awkward wording, etc.
- Proofreading manuscript against site and print pieces to final production phase
- Assisting writers with manuscripts as needed.
- Balancing multiple requests and deadlines
- Prior Pharma/Healthcare experience
- The ability to write website copy that is consumer friendly with a wellness focus.
- Must be able to collaborate well with a team and work in a fast paced environment

Required Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and experience in pharmaceutical copyediting and editing for the Web. Familiarity with AMA Manual of Style as well as a strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Professional. Bachelor's degree in English/Communications preferred.
