We’re looking for a Public Relations professional to manage all press activities for our motorcycle client. This position is part-time, contract and based in Toronto. Our client is an international motorcycle company.
Responsibilities:
*Manage all press activities outside of motorcycle trade media, which includes working with our client for the North American operations.
*Plan and provide strategic counsel for PR activities that will elevate the brand and introduce it to new customer segments by securing media placements with business and lifestyle media outlets.
*Well-connected in the city, and has an interest in motorcycles.
Day-to-day activities include:
• Press material creation, editing, and/or distribution
• International and national product launch support
• Brand partner announcements
• Press event coordination and execution
• Test drive coordination
• Media, VIP, and influencer relationship building activities
• VIP motorcycle training planning and management
• Business news announcements and communications
• Lifestyle press generation
• Dealer opening and event announcement support
• Local press generation to drive dealer traffic
• International motorcycle show interview coordination
• Influencer hosting/Location scouting
Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university required.
*At least five years of related work experience required.
*Public Relations Agency experience preferred
*Writing samples and media placements will be requested
