600003275 - Digital Studio Manager for eCommerce Global Luxury Brand

Are you a Studio Manager that has a passion for the beauty and fashion industry? We are currently hiring a dynamic Studio Manager to oversee all aspects of the digital photo studio for a major beauty retail brand. The Studio Manager is responsible for managing production of high-quality digital files at established specifications with a focus on aesthetics, detail, and workflow. This role requires creative problem solving and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume studio environment. Successful candidates will be self-starters, strong communicators, detail-oriented, and have a passion for beauty, developing efficiencies, forecasting, innovating and photography.

As the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for evolving the existing processes for the digital photo studio and becomes the point person for the photo studio to other teams. You must be a highly organized, technically oriented and experienced in managing a team, its relationships and its output. The Studio Manager will report directly to the Senior Art Director and works with merchandising team, product production team, and photographers.

Leading beauty retailer

• Experience managing photographers and retouchers.
• A strong portfolio, ideally in the beauty/fashion/retail industry/e-commerce
• BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent experience/education
• 5+ years of industry experience in a studio management, minimum of 2 years experience in e-commerce
• Experience using and communicating performance metrics
• Must possess good interpersonal communication and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and basic HTML
• Organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects with tight turnaround times, scheduling conflicts, revisions, and technical challenges
• Eye for design + Passion for beauty
