600005114 - Front End Developer

We're looking for talented Interactive Developers who will provide clean, standards-compliant X/HTML, CSS and JavaScript for ecommerce sites and mobile efforts, as well as research and develop solutions in various other realms including blogs, social media, and interactive experiences. This position requires a self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities
Develop clean and well-structured X/HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end web development projects with an eye for compliant, cross-browser and standards-based markup
Work with project managers, back-end developers, designers, and business stakeholders to develop and implement small and large-scale projects
Prioritize daily workflow and demands on quality, time and resources
Act as technical advisor to business owners, project management, and backend development teams regarding front-end development standards and processes
Present creative ideas and technical solutions for interactive features and Web site marketing initiatives
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and developments
Meet all requested development objectives and deadlines as assigned by the Development Manager

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years professional experience in coding X/HTML and CSS
Minimum of 2 year professional experience with database-driven commercial Web sites
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in JavaScript; experience with jQuery desired
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; sound organizational, negotiating and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently or as a part of an inter-disciplinary team
Ability and drive to learn new technologies, tools, and processes
Demonstrated proficiency in graphics production and optimization for the Web using Adobe Creative Suite

Desired

Development experience in one or more of the following areas: Facebook or other social media, mobile device applications and/or optimized Web sites, WordPress or other blogging platform, Adobe Flex applications w/ MXML and Actionscript, gesture-based interfaces
Familiarity with version/source control, bug tracking, and workflow applications/tools
Familiarity with object-oriented programming, especially C#, as well as the .Net framework
