600005508 - Senior Visual Designer

Our Medical Device client is looking for a Visual Designer. Candidate must be a self-starter who can work with minimal oversight. Candidate must be able to design native and web based, as well as mobile (iPhone/iPad/Android) apps. Must have a full understanding of usability and human interaction design. Deliverables include on-screen graphics and pixel perfect icons for web and mobile and be compatible with iPhone and iPad. Knowledge of usability testing best practices and medical device experience a plus.


Qualifications Needed:
• 3-5 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
• A strong online portfolio with demonstrated examples of designing great user-centered experiences and applications.
• Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
• Ability to prototype in HTML, and CSS is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with web and accessibility standards.
• Ability to quickly turn around detailed wireframes, mockups, or visual comps.
• Ability to work directly with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience assisting user research or usability studies is a plus.
• Expert with Adobe Creative Suite.
