65179 - Sr. Front End Developer

The Senior Front-end Developer is a key component of the Interactive team. He or she is expected
to be the point person for large interactive projects we execute for clients and bring a creative and
entrepreneurial bent to internal projects.

The position requires a deep knowledge of and experience with emerging web standards and accessibility.
The work involves advanced JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 and related technologies, including, but not limited to
jQuery animations, AJAX, SVG, Canvas and audio API work.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
+ Code and develop for both client and internal projects
+ Help provide accurate timelines for project completion and various milestones in the development
process
+ Coordinate with account and creative teams to ensure the work matches internal and client
expectations
+ Organize and set clear expectations in regard to tasks and deliverables
+ Provide clear and accurate communication, materials and documentation
+ Conduct thorough site quality assurance testing
+ Troubleshooting technical issues with the development team

Creative agency with multiple offices in the US. Growing team of developers, designers and other creatives. Open environment, casual dress.

Skills & Experience:
• 3+ years’ experience in interactive web development
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year accredited college or university or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Experience with the .NET platform and Visual Studio
• Experience with git and github (Public github profile preferred)
• Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS3, vanilla JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience in an agency or client-facing organization.
• Experience with game development or other highly-interactive experiences. Motion graphics or an art
background is a plus.
• A creative bent that can complement the work done by our creative staff
• Experience with best practices in web development, including but not limited to UX, usability,
accessibility, page speed optimization and SEO
