65445 - Production Designer

Our client's Digital Media Group is looking for a seasoned Production Designer to join its rapidly growing internal, interactive agency. The role requires expertise in compositing the highest-quality visuals across multiple devices including desktop, mobile and tablet.

Core Duties/Responsibilities
• Expert image compositional skills
• Ability to create pixel-perfect art and vector graphics
• Experienced at working with Art Directors, Designers, Traffic Coordinators and team leads
• Demonstrate multi-disciplinary approach to creative problem-solving
• Understand and effectively communicate/implement creative concepts that reflect the company’s creative and business philosophy, methodology and capabilities
• Demonstrate foresight by understanding emerging tools, technology and business practices for the digital medium, and learning the application of these tools and practices
• Be based in our New York City office

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience
• Photoshop master
• Strong portfolio displaying beautifully crafted graphics
• 3+ years’ experience in large-scale design, expertise in developing both brand and digital creative, including interactive advertising, e-commerce and websites/microsites
• Excellent team relationship skills
• Solid understanding of and appreciation for the distinction between creative expression and business objectives
• Effective and creative brainstorming, ideation, rapid-prototyping and other problem-solving skills
• Effective organizational approach and superb interpersonal skills
• Experience working on social media campaigns a plus
