Josh R. (713508) Josh has tons of experience with interactive design, including wireframing, user experience, and UI design. For MyRichUncle, a start-up student loan company, Josh completely redesigned the website from the ground up. The challenge was to include a large amount of information about student loans and the company itself, several loan calculation tools, and the actual loan applications. Josh started by creating three main sections: Get A Loan, Learn About Loans, and Meet MyRichUncle. From here, Josh made preliminary wireframes of every page and every function, as well as visual prototypes of key pages, aligning to the company’s recent rebranding. Josh also proposed specific user experience enhancements such as the "Next Steps" section, designed to retain traffic and direct prospective borrowers towards the application process. Josh also refined the hierarchy of information, for example, by moving the bottom-most level of loan details into a tab-based environment that didn’t interrupt the user’s flow through the site.
